Sometimes we claim that we don’t have enough time for ourself. We keep avoiding people and make excuses. It is okay to give your self space.  And healing is a process. Don’t push the process. We’re all more resilient than we think. Some parts of life happen quietly. They happen slowly.

This book will help you to be more aware of yourself. To believe that we don’t have to be perfect in order to going through the process of searching for hidayah or guidance. The best thing that you could find in this book is the self compassion from psychological point of view that written by Muhammad Anas, her husband.

I like how she wrote this book with the issues that lingering around us.

A compilation of reflections that illustrates how the author practice her faith throughout her daily, busy life, but specifically during tests. She reflects more on the challenges and obstacles that we going through in life and how to see the nearness of Allah in everything.

Each personal reflections are relatable stories of daily life.

3. Healing The Emptiness

This book by Yasmin Mogahed will not let you down. Many of us have lost our way in this life. Some people have given up hope, as they see no way out of their pain, their problems, their failures. Some people carry years of shame and self-hatred. And some live with a deep emptiness, despite worldly success.

But this book will show you that there is hope. And there is always a road back. Just as we were sent on this worldly journey with the capacity to fall, we were also given the capacity to rise. I love how the writer giving us the framework to approach love and marriage in new perspective. Another side of looking back at the singlehood. There is no extraordinary ideas, but how she portray singlehood is a good way for being the best version of your life really make sense. Start living your life and be smart. Farhat remind us to go back to the basic, “What is your purpose in life?”.
